Fork Extensions - Heavy Duty
Fork extensions are available for temporary use when there is a requirement for stabilizing loads during long load handling.
Heavy Duty fork extensions are constructed of structural steel channel material with bar stock reinforcements welded to the sides.
Fork extensions must not be more than 1-1/2 the length of the forks that they are used on.
The horizontal center of gravity of the load being handled must not be longer than 1/2 the length of the fork extension; thus not longer than 3/4 the length of the supporting fork blade.
